The-Hindu-Diaspora-Foundation-About

The Hindu Diaspora Foundation is a non-profit organization based in New York, USA. It was founded by individuals deeply connected to their Indian Sanatan(Hindu) ancestry and committed to the global Sanatan(Hindu) community. We consider ourselves “Bharatiyas”—loyal to our Sanatan(Hindu) heritage and united with our Sanatani(Hindu) brethren everywhere. The Foundation stands as a global platform for the Sanatan(Hindu) diaspora, championing the empowerment of Sanatan(Hindus) irrespective of where they are found.

Over years of engagement with the Sanatan(Hindu) Diaspora—in Bharat, Mauritius, Fiji, USA, Trinidad, Guyana, and Suriname—we have observed the decline in values as well as the shrinking of the Sanatan(Hindu) community due to conversion, social challenges, and lingering colonial and missionary influences. The community faces serious issues that must be addressed. There have been continuous attacks on Sanatan Dharma(Hinduism) and Sanatani(Hindus), and we must not let them go unchallenged. We must defend, promote, and strengthen Sanatan Dharma(Hinduism) while fostering growth and unity within the community.

Through visits, outreach, and digital engagement—including global Sanatan(Hindu) networks and chat groups—the Foundation has built meaningful relationships with like-minded Sanatani(Hindus), activists, and thinkers dedicated to solving Sanatani(Hindu) issues. The Hindu Diaspora Foundation actively supports Sanatan(Hindu) charity and community development work in Bharat (India) and across the diaspora, including programs assisting Sanatani(Hindus) in distress and those doing impactful service for the Sanatan(Hindu) cause.

As part of our mission to empower, strengthen, and unite Sanatanis(Hindus) globally, The Hindu Diaspora Foundation has established the following goals:

  • Establish Sanatan Dharma(Hindu) Community Centers in countries that urgently need support, offering:

    • Social services (suicide prevention, domestic violence assistance, substance abuse     programs, counseling, and related services)
    • Job training and placement opportunities
    • Small business loans and scholarships
    • Sanatan(Hindu) cultural and educational classes such as music, classical dance, Sanatan Dharma(Hinduism) studies, Hindi language, and related programs
  • Develop a Sanatan(Hindu) University/Medical/Health Learning Institute or Center to provide quality education rooted in Sanatan(Hindu) values and holistic well-being.

  • Create a Unified Sanatan(Hindu) Alliance by fostering cooperation among major Sanatan(Hindu) organizations  worldwide—all sharing the mission of empowering and propagating Sanatan Dharma(Hinduism).

  • Strengthen Bonds with Bharat Mata, our ancestral homeland and the birthplace of Sanatan Dharma(Hinduism) and related faiths, by building cultural, educational, and spiritual partnerships.

  • Host Seminars and Conferences to discuss challenges facing Sanatan(Hindu) communities globally and to collectively brainstorm solutions that ensure the growth and resilience of Sanatan Dharma.

  • Launch a Pan-Sanatan(Hindu) Website and Publication dedicated to Hindu affairs—sharing news, research, opinions, and cultural content relevant to the global Sanatan(Hindu) diaspora.
