DR. NICOLE BISSESSAR LECTURES AT MAHARSHI DAYANAND UNIVERSITY
Dr. NICOLE BISSESSAR delivered the Distinguished Guest Lecture on “India’s Role in a Changing Global Economy” on May 16, 2023 at the Institute Of Management Studies and Research (IMSAR), Maharshi Dayanand University in Rohtak, India. The invitation was issued by Prof. Satyawan Baroda, Director, IMSAR.

Dr. Nicole Bissessar was born in a Trinidadian home. At the age of 14, she drew interest in the works of British economist John Maynard Keynes (1883–1946), who is regarded as the founder of modern macroeconomics. Before migrating to Boston, Massachusetts in August of 2003, Dr. Bissessar earned her Bachelors and Masters of Science in Economics at The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine. During the years of 1999 to 2008, she traveled to various nations studying and analyzing macroeconomic data and political systems of governance in developing nations. Upon completion of her Doctorate in 2008 from Clark University, MA, she continued in academia, publishing and teaching on economic theory and thought.
